The Safescan is a laser-based sensor that provides comprehensive safety for swing doors by detecting obstacles and preventing accidents. The Safescan features advanced LASER scanning with time-of-flight measurement technology, offering presence detection over a 4-meter diagonal range.
It ensures comprehensive safety with a 90° detection angle for the door wing and a 16° angle for the pinch zone.
The sensor operates with an angular resolution of 1.6° and 0.8°, respectively.
It is energy-efficient with a power consumption of ≤ 2W, protected by IP54, and functions across extreme temperatures (-30°C to +60°C), providing reliable, fast (50ms) safety detection for swing doors.
